- Operate various, more complex, door manufacturing equipment
- Read and interpret order tags
- Ensure the material is produced to precise specifications
- Maintain quality standards
- Staging and preparing material for next stage of production
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules
- Other general plant/warehouse duties as needed
- Commercial machine operator experience
- Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
- Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- General knowledge of building materials
- Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
- Works well in a fast-paced, TEAM environment
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
