Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused To-go Specialist to join our team. This job pays $13/ hour plus tips. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by efficiently managing to-go orders and ensuring a seamless experience from order placement to pickup. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be essential in enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their to-go orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system, including any special requests or modifications.
- Prepare and package food items for takeout, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and effective communication regarding order status.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
- Assist in training new staff members on proper procedures for handling to-go orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
