Job Summary
The Pool Attendant/Slide Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and clean environment for all guests at the pool area. This position involves monitoring pool activities, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with various guest needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must be the minimum age of 14
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Willing to cross train across departments
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Must be willing to undergo a drug/alchohol test
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests and enforce pool rules.
- Provide assistance to guests regarding pool facilities and services.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including lounges, umbrellas, and surrounding spaces.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Must be comfortbale working in varying weather conditions
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Organize and participate in recreational activities or events at the pool.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance guest experiences and promote resort amenities.
- Ensure all pool tubes are properly stored when not in use by guests to maintain a clean and organized pool area
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience in conflict management to effectively handle disputes or concerns.
- Public speaking skills for conducting announcements or engaging with groups.
- Experience working with children is beneficial for family-oriented environments..
- Familiarity with resort operations and guest services will be advantageous.
This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
