What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Manager position at Jellystone Park of Western New York?
As our Food and Beverage Manager, you will be accountable for managing day-to-day Food and Beverage operations in our park while ensuring that all of the food and drinks are of the highest quality and keeping within budget .
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements:Job Requirements:
- Assist in developing financial goals to meet or exceed within the department Accurately forecast food and beverage revenue/expenses
- Ensure hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
- Identify major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problems
- Create and distribute team member schedules in a timely manner
- Develop and implement marketing and sales plans for food and beverage outlets, including implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within brand and IHM guidelines to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market
- Manage and maintain the sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to utilize POS system
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Food and Beverage/Hospitality profession. This included the knowledge required for managing people, complex problems, and food and beverage management
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
