Summary:
The Pipe Crew Laborer supports the installation of drainage and utility pipes by performing manual labor and assisting the pipe crew operator. This role involves working in outdoor environments and occasionally challenging conditions such as deep trenches.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor, including digging, pipe alignment, and backfilling.
- Assist the pipe crew operator in positioning and securing pipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Handle and transport materials and tools required for pipe installation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in construction labor is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors, and meet physical demands of the role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
