Lead Valet Attendant
SUPERVISOR: Security Shift Supervisor EXEMPT (Y/N): NO
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Key Employee
SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Security Shift Supervisor, oversees the valet attendants and ensures excellent guest service is provided by all valet attendants, parks and retrieves guest(s) vehicles, opens doors and greets guest as they enter or exit the facility. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees all Valet Attendants and improves staff effectiveness by training, planning, delegating, monitoring, and appraising job tasks and results in a timely manner.
· Maintains integrity of Valet Operations.
· Receives/Returns vehicles from/to guests and processes retrieval slip.
· Ensures the completion of all departmental paperwork necessary for Valet Operations.
· Maintain a friendly relationship with customers.
· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or G.E.D.
· Good customer service skills.
· Must be able to drive both auto and standard transmissions. Previous valet experience a plus.
· Must be able to communicate in English.
· Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
· Must possess problem-solving skills.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret operating procedures, technical procedures and government regulations.
· Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possesses integrity, confidentiality and discretion in handling confidential information.
· Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
· Valid driver’s license, adequate transportation and clean driving record.
· Ability to pass an extensive background check.
· Must take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
· Must take and pass any random drug test; zero tolerance.
· No felony or theft convictions.
· Tribal preference
· Gaming Industry experience is preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSABILITIES:
· Ensures all Valet Attendants are properly trained.
· Ensure all policy and procedures are followed.
· Responsibilities include proper training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or G.E.D.
· Must have good driving record with no recent accidents and good customer service skills.
· Previous valet experience a plus.
· Must be able to communicate in English.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
· Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include hot and cold weather and rain.
