What are the responsibilities and job description for the Female Drug Testing Technician position at Jenda Family Services?
Jenda Family Services is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) part-time FEMALE Drug Testing Specialist in Omaha for our random drug testing program.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collect urine and/or saliva samples from clients under direct observation, following strict collection protocols.
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork before and after each collection.
- Communicate effectively in Spanish and English, with fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both languages.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with clients.
- Travel to client homes for scheduled testing using a personal vehicle (mileage and drive time reimbursed).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Qualification:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a Human Services-related field strongly preferred.
- Experience working with substance abuse is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
Schedule:
- Schedule varies based on testing needs but includes weekdays and weekends.
- Testing days are pre-determined and typically involve 2-3 testing days per week.
- Multiple tests per day are conducted in client homes, requiring travel.
- Mileage and drive time are reimbursed.
Note: This position is open only to female candidates due to the requirement that sample collection from female clients be directly observed by Jenda staff.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
