We are seeking a CNC Operator responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Running lathes and milling machines.
• Inspecting finished parts by using measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Assist other machinists with troubleshooting issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during the machining process
• Keep records of production runs, machine settings, maintenance activities, and issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe, clean work environment in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and some advanced measurement and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer literacy. Familiarity with the use of mouse and keyboard.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics.
• Ability to use the following tools: micrometer, caliper, and basic measuring tools.
• Ability to read precision measuring tools accurately.
• Ability to read dimensional prints.
• Machining background is a plus
  
  

Eligibility Requirements

• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrate aptitude for mechanical measurement
• oachable and receptive to firsthand training from experienced team members.
• Maintain a cheerful outlook and professional, courteous relationships with co-workers.
• Consistent attendance record with a willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively in interactions with customers and vendors.
• Team player, positive & engaged contributor to the team, willing to learn & adapt to business needs
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift to fifty pounds.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Walking, bending, kneeling
• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery, power tools, and computers
