Wound Care RN & Staff Development Director

Description

The Wound Care Nurse/Registered Nurse specializes in assessing and treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions. They work closely with interdisciplinary members to ensure that personalized treatment plans are followed correctly to prevent future infection or injury. This position will also provide CNA and Med Aide testing for nursing staff and is scheduled to perform direct resident care, including assessments, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring. Work rotating shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous patient care. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight and weekends. This position must be passionate, research-driven, and focused on improving care quality through evidence-based practices. The Wound Care Nurse at Jenkins Living Center is an educator as well as a clinical specialist, collaborating with residents, their families, and other healthcare staff/consultants to treat and manage skin conditions in our residents.
