About the Role
Jenkins-Richardson & Associates is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This full-time position requires a commitment to helping both children and adults , with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
Success in this role means maintaining a caseload of 25 clinical hours per week while working within a supportive and collaborative environment that values flexibility, diversity, and professional growth. As part of our practice, you’ll benefit from steady client referrals, administrative support, and a fully furnished office , allowing you to focus on what matters most—helping clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and couples counseling to children and adults with a variety of presenting concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and grief.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Collaborate with a diverse team of clinicians to enhance client care through shared expertise and consultation.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with practice standards.
Participate in team meetings and case reviews as needed to foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
Qualifications
Licensure
Must hold active
LPC or LCSW licensure ( provisionally licensed applicants, such as ALCs or LMSWs, will not be considered at this time
Experience
At least
two years of clinical experience working with children and adults in a therapeutic setting.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and administrative staff.
Preferred
Applicants already paneled with insurance providers, particularly Blue Cross Blue Shield, are preferred but not required.
