We are seeking a highly skilled experienced Pizza maker. We are a fast-paced high-volume Pizzeria on the Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. As a Pizzeria operating in a seasonal business in a resort town the volume of business depends mostly on the weather with most of the volume being on the weekends. Throughout the day there are times that there will be two Pizza makers working making Pizzas when needed. That is usually needed during lunch and diner hours. The weekends are the busy days and usually during those times there are two pizza makers throughout the day. Our business sells just Pizza and drinks. But the pizzas we make have many different toppings. After the pizzas are made, they are put on the counter to be served to customers that come into the business. We also sell whole pies but most of the volume is individual slices.
The job starts in April and is completed mid-October. Once hired you will be shown how we make our pizzas. We have established a verity of signature pies that you will be shown how to make. Once you are comfortable with the way we do things it will be an easy fit and it is very common to hear constant complements. These complements are made because we sell a good product, and we are very careful that all our recipes stay constant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications in a high-volume business.
- Maintain organize and clean pizza prep area. At the end of the night, you will be involved in the general cleaning
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a timely delivery.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Familiarity with food service regulations and safety standards.
