What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ropes Facilitator position at Jenkinson's Boardwalk?
Jenkinson's Boardwalk's ropes course is a challenging outdoor attraction which consists of high and low elements. Low elements take place only a few feet above the ground and are suitable for young children. High elements are approximately 40 feet in the air and have several stages including a zip line that tests customers balance and focus.
Ages 16
- Educate guests with safety instructions and procedures to ensure a fun and safe experience
- Outfit guests with proper safety equipment and properly attach sling line to harness and overhead track
- Ensure course/equipment is inspected and paperwork is filled out and filed away correctly daily
- Up keep of cleanliness of the surrounding area of the course
- Greet and assist guests on the course as well as helping put on/ take off harnesses.

Normal summer operational hours are 9am-12am hours could change depending on weather and on-site events.
- Comfortable of heights up to 40 feet
- Must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends
- Ability to provide explanations of safety rules and procedures to guests
- Able to read and interpret English language training manuals regarding safety, operations and procedures
- Ability to bend, climb and stand outside for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass a written and physical exam after training
- Comfortable working in changing weather conditions
