Position : Homeless and Foster Care Parent Liaison
Reports to : Director of Student Learning and Literacy
Supervises : None
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Typing and computer experience in Google Docs and Sheets required.
- General office skills experience preferred.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal : Assure children experiencing homelessness and in foster care are fully integrated into the mainstream school setting and offered appropriate educational support. Efficiently perform the responsibilities assigned with a positive attitude.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Employment Terms : Twelve (12) month classified hourly contract, forty (40) hours weekly. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
FLSA Qualification : Non-Exempt
