Position : Paraprofessional
Reports to : Principal and Special Education Teacher
Supervises : None
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Satisfy Every Student Succeeds Act requirements by :
- Completed at least 2 years of study (48 hrs.) at an institution of higher ed, or
- Hold an associate's degree or higher, or
- Obtained a National Career Readiness Certificate through successful completion of the ACT, WorkKeys Assessment, or passed the Paraprofessional Assessment Test - Passing Score is 455, or
- Passed the Oklahoma General Education (OGET) Test.
- Complete and maintain training and skills in Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal : Assist in the implementation of the program designed to meet the specific goals and objectives for each student, through the provision of individual attention, additional and / or enrichment instruction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Employment Terms : Nine (9) month classified hourly contract
