What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Jenks Veterinary Hospital?
Jenks Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our Kennel team is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and staff.
In this role, you will focus on janitorial and housekeeping duties, ensuring kennels, common spaces and treatment areas are sanitized and well stocked with supplies. This position is ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment. Along with Kennel duties, you will be cross trained in a Customer Service role also. Greeting clients, answering phones and email.
This is a flexible position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Required qualifications and skillset:
- 0-1 years of janitorial or kennel experience
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Comfortable around canine and feline species
- Attention to detail and organization
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Experience pet bathing and nail trips a plus!
- Customer service experience
