Senior Entry Writer
Location : Long Beach, CA (on-site)
Compensation : $70K-$72K annually
Job Type : Full-time
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

What will you do?
Manage assigned accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure regulatory compliance by applying strong knowledge of Partner Government Agencies (FDA, USDA, AMS, NOP, etc.).
Classify products according to HTSUSA and follow customer SOPs for entry preparation.
Process import shipments by reviewing documentation, inputting, and transmitting data for CBP release.
Handle customs issues including holds, exams, entry cancellations, IT / TE / IE moves, carnets, and TIB entries.
Resolve shipment delays by identifying and addressing issues affecting cargo release.
Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding urgent shipments.
Track and trace shipments , coordinating with airlines, steamship lines, freight forwarders, and CFS facilities.
Arrange freight solutions by working with trucking companies for pickup and delivery.
Provide advisory services on classification, FTA qualification, and PGA requirements.
Identify business opportunities and assist in engineering client solutions.
What will you need?
5-7 years of progressive experience in customs brokerage operations.
Expertise in CHB operations with hands-on experience in FDA and PGAs.
Strong client interaction skills with the ability to engage high-level customers.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level.
CargoWise experience is required.
Knowledge of customs regulations (19CFR) and HTS classification.
