About This Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Designer to join our Brand Creative team. This position will report to the Senior Designer. The ideal candidate for a design role should demonstrate a strong understanding of core design principles, including typography, composition, and an awareness of emerging design trends.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Junior Designer, your primary responsibilities include the following:
Design Execution-
- Under the supervision of the Senior Designer, support with design assets across multiple channels—including event collateral, in-store signage, linesheets, emails, paid ads, and presentations.
- Maintain organized design files and file structure to ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
- Receive regular design feedback from Senior Designer and make timely edits.
Collaboration & Project Management-
- Work with department leads to review project briefs, brainstorm ideas, and revise creative assets according to their feedback.
- Ensure all creative assets align with campaign objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines.
- Support multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Take direction from Senior Designer.
- Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring projects are completed successfully.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role - preferably within a design, e-commerce, fashion, retail, or editorial environment.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience in photo retouching and video editing is a plus.
- An understanding of basic design principles: typography, composition, and design trends.
- Attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Great at communicating and working with others, with the ability to confidently explain and present design decisions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
