Position Reports to: EVP and Head of Growth Chief of Staff
Position Overview: The Operations Intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day office, new business, and human resources activities for the organization as assigned by the leadership team. Works cross-divisionally, and assists with new business and operations-related tasks across JBC’s Food & Beverage, Design, Fashion, Beauty, Social Impact, Content, Affiliate Marketing, and Executive Speaking teams. This unique fellowship position is designed to give eager candidates a well-rounded and hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency setting.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with EVP and Head of Growth on new business opportunities including structuring RFP presentations and scheduling meetings
- Conduct audits and prepare reports
- Draft copy for new business materials
- Manage RFPs and Case Studies asset library
- Support successful new client onboarding transition
- Meet KPIs as set forth by management
- Document thorough notes from all new business meetings
- Maintain the accuracy of job descriptions, and candidate applications, organize and screen CVs and resumes, manage job ads, and assist in the implementation of company policies
- Assist with recruitment coordination including interview arrangement, collecting and recording interview feedback, and timely candidate follow-ups
- Research projects around analytics and trends in the HR department
- Supporting the Chief of Staff with the on and off-boarding of employees
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the LA office: ordering of office supplies/snacks/drinks, health and safety, submitting maintenance requests, etc.
- Support JBC Committees with social events (in-office/virtual)
- Other special projects and tasks as needed
About You:
- An enthusiastic individual looking to kickstart a career in operations, human resources, or public relations
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects independently, including setting and meeting deadlines without direct supervision
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to complex situations
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate effective planning, time management, and organizational abilities
- Experience with the following:
- Google Workspace, specifically Slides
- Managing multiple inboxes
- Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
- A people-person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships, with proven experience in a supportive team environment
- Ability to both balance many priorities and act resourcefully, all while maintaining a positive attitude

Time Commitment:
- Full-time internship with an opportunity to convert to full-time employment upon review.

- The base pay ranges from $34,321 - $35,922 overtime based on geographic market and according to applicable laws.
