The Wholesale Apparel Account Executive is responsible for driving sales of apparel products to retail customers, wholesalers, and other business partners. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Line Sheet & Product Design: Develop compelling sales line sheets and design product offerings tailored to meet the specific needs of assigned accounts.
- Market Research & Account Growth: Conduct consistent research on assigned accounts and the market to identify growth opportunities, expand product offerings, and explore new sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage all customer-related activities for both new and existing accounts, including order processing, order confirmations, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Sales Tracking & Reorder Strategy: Monitor retail sales on a weekly basis to uncover opportunities for reorders and develop strategies to drive future sales growth, sharing findings with the internal team.
- Cold Calling: Actively make cold calls to potential clients, introducing them to the brand and creating new business opportunities.
- Travel Requirement: Frequent travel is required for client meetings, attending industry trade shows, and visiting potential accounts. Candidates must be comfortable with regular travel.
- Trade Shows: Attend industry trade shows and events as necessary to promote the brand and meet potential customers.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to fully understand their needs and offer tailored solutions to optimize account performance.
- Weekly Meetings & Reporting: Participate in weekly team meetings, providing updates on account performance, offering suggestions for improvement, and sharing customer feedback for product development and optimization.
- Order Review & Discrepancy Resolution: Carefully review each sales order and proactively communicate any discrepancies or delivery issues to clients to ensure smooth transactions.
- New Account & Territory Development: Research and identify new potential accounts and untapped territories. Initiate contact with prospects and follow up to establish strong customer relationships.
- Customer Support & Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any customer complaints, providing suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers through open, honest, and ongoing communication.
- Follow-Up Management: Handle all aspects of account follow-ups, including customer service inquiries, order maintenance, and sales-related questions.
Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Proven experience as an Sales Executive or in other sales/customer service roles.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Quickbooks, and ApparelMagic is preferred.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills.

- BSc or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing.
- Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, sales, or marketing is required.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- 3 years of experience in apparel sales.
- Willingness to attend potential trade shows or travel to customer's location to meet with them (travel time may include some weekends).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
