We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Market Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Driving to and from each market.
- Setting up and breaking down tables, tents, weights, displays, etc.
- Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting.
- Creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business as well as being knowledgeable about food allergies to answer questions as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers or POS systems is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
- Basic math skills are required for managing transactions and inventory calculations.
