Jennifer Radakovic Design (JRD) is a Richmond, VA-based residential design firm with a unique blend of architectural and interior design services, focusing on the design of large-scale renovations/additions as well as new construction. JRD is seeking a talented Interior Designer who shares these values and also possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in custom, single-family residential practice to join our team as a Senior Designer. In addition to meeting the responsibilities & requirements outlined below, the ideal candidate will be an excellent cultural fit, possess a professional and proactive nature, and be enthusiastic about long-standing employment with opportunities for growth within the firm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Successfully managing projects & client relationships from concept through construction.
- Creating & refining space plans.
- Developing unique designs and presenting them in a clear, cohesive, and elegant visual format.
- Selecting finishes, fixtures, & furnishings.
- Producing drawings & details for concept approval & construction.
Qualifications Include:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work autonomously & collaboratively.
- An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A working knowledge of common residential codes & construction practices.
- A strong proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of the G-Suite programs (Slides, Docs, & Sheets) and Sketchup.
