Waitstaff - Part Time

Jennings McCall has an opening for a part-time/on call Waitstaff at our long-term care facility. We are looking for someone with great energy and a positive attitude to join our wait staff team in providing great food and service to our residents in a friendly and caring environment.

This position is:

• Wednesday -Thursday 3:30 - 6:30pm
• Saturday - Sunday 10:30am - 1:30pm
• On Call as needed

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Coordinating the activities of the wait staff employees.

· Ensures seating assignments are accurate and appropriate. Coordinating all guest meal seating and serving all inquiries from the marketing department.

· Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quality improvement audits as directed by the Food Service Director.

· Monitors meal service to ensure timeliness, accuracy and overall resident satisfaction.

· Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.

· Monitors employee productivity, and provides suggestions for increasing level of service

· Train new employees in service etiquette, special diets, and customer service standards.

· Works with residents to ensure satisfaction in quality, and service; resolves problems as appropriate

· Assists the Food Service Director with special events, catering functions and parties.

· Fills in as a Wait Staff member as needed to be appropriately staffed.

• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
