Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, gas piping, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform pipefitting, soldering, welding, and brazing as required.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, making necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Work with other trades (HVAC, electrical, general construction) to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Licensing: Valid plumbing license or ability to obtain one (preferred but not required).
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; backflow certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
