What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate sheet metal crews on commercial HVAC and mechanical projects
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet company quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders to plan and execute work
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of ductwork, ventilation systems, and other sheet metal components
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to promote professional growth
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and other trades on-site
- Conduct job site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues
- Experience: 5 years in sheet metal fabrication/installation, with 2 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and sheet metal fabrication processes
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage crews, delegate tasks, and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Certifications: OSHA 30 preferred
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate hand/power tools
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
