Culinary Services Aide
Part Time positions available, afternoon hours available.
Job Description
Qualifications
Follow oral and written directions.
Essential Functions
- Follow oral directions.
- Follow written directions.
- Set up trays and tables.
- Serve in dining room.
- Serve on tray line.
- Serve trays.
- Bus trays.
- Pour and cover beverages.
- Assist in preparing and covering food.
- Clean work area.
- Assist in the proper care and use of kitchen equipment.
- Attend in-service training programs for Food Service staff.
- Work in other Hospitality areas, such as Housekeeping and Laundry, when called upon to do so.
- Observe infection control procedures related to the Dining Services Department.
- Follow Residents Rights policies at all times.
- Understand therapeutic diets.
- Follow facility safety programs.
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
- Assume accountability for data contained in the Staff Handbook.
- Relate to residents, families and staff in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner
- Meet meal schedules.
- Understand and comply with the Corporate Compliance Program.

- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Our Culinary Aides perform duties including but not limited to preparing cold salads and desserts, light cooking, food plating, set up of trays and tables, serving in dining room, serving and busing trays, washing dishes, and cleaning work area.
