Summary
The Summer Internship Program at Jennison Associates is a 10 week program that includes a variety of events and projects to provide students with a challenging and meaningful experience. This program was created and formalized with the goal of preparing students for their future by enhancing their industry knowledge and expanding their professional network, while providing them with a real-life work experience.
Your Impact
To assist the Fixed Income Account Management team with day to day operations and to learn overall reconciliation and trade settlements. This will help the group with coaching, leadership and collaboration
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- The intern will learn the overall reconciliation and trade settlement process focusing on the fixed income products
- Assist with daily reconciliations review
- Provide support on team projects, enhancements and process improvements
Your Required Skills
- We are currently seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work in a busy environment while multi-tasking.
- Actively enrolled college student working towards a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting with a 3.3 GPA or higher
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently and know when to escalate potential issues
- Ability to work with supervisors and managers effectively
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week over 10 weeks (beginning in June to mid-August approximately)
- This role will work in alignment with Jennison’s hybrid model (onsite Tuesday – Thursday and remote Monday, Friday)
The hourly rate for this role is $30/hour and rates for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
