Summary
The Summer Internship Program at Jennison Associates is a 10 week program that includes a variety of events and projects to provide students with a challenging and meaningful experience. This program was created and formalized with the goal of preparing students for their future by enhancing their industry knowledge and expanding their professional network, while providing them with a real-life work experience.
Your Impact
As an intern on our sustainability team you will play a vital role in supporting our sustainable research efforts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the team with company level sustainability research and daily ESG news alerts
- Scorecard automation development: data analysis across industries; collaboration with tech team on buildout
- Conduct investment portfolio reporting and analysis.
- Assist sustainability research analysts on ad hoc or strategic projects. Projects may include climate scenario reporting and analysis, scope 4 methodology, engagement framework, good governance enhancements, materiality mapping, studying our proprietary research vs third party data vendors and peers
- Analyze findings and present ongoing observations in a clear and concise manner
- Support the Sustainability team with administrative tasks
Your Required Skills
- We are currently seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, analytical, and possesses a passion for investing and sustainability. The ability to work in a busy environment while multi-tasking is important.
- Rising Senior working towards a BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math or related coursework
- 3 GPA or higher
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Programming skills a plus.
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week over 10 weeks (beginning in June to mid-August approximately)
- This role will work in alignment with Jennison’s hybrid model (onsite Tuesday – Thursday and remote Monday, Friday)
The hourly rate for this role is $30/hour and rates for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance. .
