JENNMAR is currently hiring for our Shipping and Receiving in South Point, OH. JENNMAR is leading the way in ground control technology for the mining, tunneling and civil construction industries.
For more than 40 years, our mission has been focused on developing and manufacturing quality ground control products. Today we make a broad range of reliable products, from bolts and beams, to channels and trusses, to resin and rebar.
In addition to more than twenty strategically located manufacturing facilities, our brands include engineering services, resin manufacturing, rolled – steel and drill – steel manufacturing, custom steel fabrication, road, miner, and specialty bits, chemical roof support and sealing products, soil stabilization, reclaiming, grading, trenching and foundation drilling, staffing solutions, and our own trucking company.

Quality Control Duties
- Responsible for fabricated materials conforming to drawings, shop standards, specifications and applicable codes.
- Regularly report product quality information and feedback to management team.
- Responsible for in-process, hold point inspections
- Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials
- Maintain QA/QC logs and records for welding procedures and calibration of inspection equipment
- Ability to inspect welds and measure parts based off fabrication drawings
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of shop fabrication
- Inform Foreman of defects and help identify workable solutions
- Assist with loading completed projects when necessary
- Assist with the safety program of the facility
- Participate with the team to improve processes to increase productivity and competitiveness
Preferred Qualifications of Quality Control
- Preferred 1 year QA/QC field experience in steel and pipe fabrication and construction
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering blueprints, weld symbols, written procedures and specifications
- Experience using standard measuring equipment and instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, weld gage, UT gage)
- Strong problem-solving ability in resolving complex problems arising during the fabrication process
- Ability to make accurate assessments of problems, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Work Schedule of the Quality Control
- 1stshift: Monday – Friday (6:00am -2:30pm)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
