Job Responsibilities of the Press Brake/Punch Press Operator:
- Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, and straighten metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine required specifications
- Perform quality inspections to verify parts meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
Job Requirements of the Press Brake/Punch Press Operator:
- Proficiency in programming and operating press brake machines
- Experience with laser cutting, plasma cutting, milling machines, and stamping presses
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Skilled in quality inspection techniques
- Knowledge of forklift operation for material handling
- Capable of assembling parts as needed
Work Schedule of the Press Brake/Punch Press Operator:
- Monday through Friday
- Day Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM
- *Press Brake is steady daylight shift*
- Shifts alternate weekly/must be able to work both assigned shifts
Compensation and Benefits of the Press Brake/Punch Press Operator:
- $18.00 - 20.00 per hour (higher rate available with desired experience)
