What are the responsibilities and job description for the Goldsmith Apprentice (With paid training) position at Jensen Jewelers?
Jensen Jewelers is hiring one position for our Goldsmith Apprenticeship Program for our Elko Location. We will train you in Twin Falls, Idaho. Jensen Jewelers will pay for your lodging (food excluded) for the 8-week training program. This paid position will teach you the skills to graduate to a full time Goldsmith within the Jensen Jewelers company. Upon completion, you will be able to identify and repair the customer's fine jewelry. This is a full-time position of 40 hours a week, overtime required during the busy season. Availability must be open to scheduling Monday - Saturday. Starting pay is $13 an hour with incentives for raises, bonuses, and spiff earnings. You will receive a pay raise to $16 upon your successful completion of our 8-week level 1 goldsmith training program. (This program requires a 4-year commitment to Jensen Jewelers) There will also be potential for additional raises based on performance post training.
As a level one Goldsmith, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specific trade or industry. You will work alongside skilled professionals, learning from their expertise and developing your own skills.
