Class A Boom Truck Driver

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

The Class A Boom Truck Driver is a key position at our Fontana, CA plant. Every day you’re out in the field, safely delivering precast products.  

Reporting to dispatch, you’ll primarily work with customers, delivery drivers and the sales team.   

A highlight of your day to day will include:  

• Transport precast materials, secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport. 

• Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours, of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. 

• Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify instructions, and requested routes/drop off location; read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes; drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes.

You’re a licensed Class A CDL driver with an NCCCO certification. You like to be home daily and paid hourly. Placing large/awkward/heavy products in place at jobsites doesn’t scare you. You don’t take shortcuts. You’re safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.

If there is an offer, the salary presented will consider several factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, training, and internal equity. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Jensen Precast. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with match, PTO, and paid holidays. 

Salary : $30 - $35
