WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

The Inventory Control/Data Accuracy Specialist is a key position at Jensen Precast - Metal Tech, ensuring that our Sales team knows what is in the yard, in real-time, available to sell. Our Inventory Control/Data Accuracy Specialist is an Enterprise Resource Planning expert, working 90% of the time on the computer. This is a hands-on position performing daily cycle counts.  

Reporting to our Materials Manager, you’ll primarily work with the yard, inventory, planning, and buying teams. 

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:  

• Auditing: Perform accurate audits of routings, structures, and inventory. Conduct inventory audits (cycle counts) as specified by the cycle counting process. Conduct routine audits of part data, routings, and material structures as specified by the auditing process. Audit all transaction-related processes. 

• Parts Management: Process new manufacturing parts by assigning lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, and creating routing and material structures as needed. 

• Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements resulting from process and data audits. Research the causes of errors and make recommendations for corrective action.  

• Teamwork: Assist (when necessary) with scheduling, planning, and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You will have some specialized training in and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning. A year of experience working in the construction industry or in a manufacturing environment will help you succeed in this role. You love problem-solving, and organization is critical to you.
