Applications Specialist - Semiconductor Equipment
The Applications Specialist provides applications support to the Sales and Marketing team through demonstrations of EBL (electron beam lithography) products to existing and potential customers, enhancing our customer relationships and driving business growth.
The Key Responsibilities of the Applications Specialist will be:
- Demonstrate the full capabilities of EBL products to existing and potential customers in the applications lab, at customer sites, and scientific conferences, showcasing product expertise and fostering strong customer connections.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales, and marketing pre and post-sale, ensuring seamless product integration and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist Product Managers with the evaluation of new products, software, or accessories, contributing to product development and improvement.
- Participate in development and delivery of training for customers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize our products.
Requirements for the Applications Specialist Position:
- A Master's degree in a specialty field of study or equivalent, plus 3 to 5 years of direct write EBL experience, providing a strong foundation in EBL technology.
- Experience with 100kV EBL is required, demonstrating expertise in high-voltage EBL systems.
- Working knowledge of GenISys Beamer software and ability to create scripts using programming languages such as Python is preferred, highlighting proficiency in software development and automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills are essential for success in this role, enabling effective collaboration and documentation.
- Up to 50% overnight travel is anticipated, requiring flexibility and adaptability in work arrangements.
