We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Tasting Room Associate to join our customer-focused team.

Job Overview:

As a Tasting Room Associate, you’ll be at the forefront of our guest experience, guiding visitors through wine tastings, educating them about our wines and winemaking process, and ensuring they have a memorable visit. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage guests with enthusiasm, offering a warm and inviting experience.
  • Conduct wine tastings and educate guests about our wines, the winemaking process, and the history of the winery.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and ensure smooth and accurate sales transactions.
  • Promote the wine club and winery events to guests, encouraging participation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, bar area, and facilities.
  • Assist with setting up and hosting winery events, both onsite and offsite. Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of events.
  • Represent the winery at occasional offsite tastings and events.
  • Lift and transport wine and retail merchandise, assisting guests to their cars as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a seamless, positive environment for visitors.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Wine knowledge and previous winery hospitality experience is a must.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work at both our Downtown Lodi and Lockeford locations.
  • Must have a strong, outgoing personality and be confident, engaging, and comfortable in social situations.
  • Must understand the difference between customer service and hospitality: customer service focuses on meeting needs and fulfilling requests, while true hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and valued, going above and beyond, and creating a memorable experience.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. The ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull on a frequent basis.
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for interacting with guests.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • A love for wine and a desire to continuously learn about wine and food pairings.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and winery events as required.
  • Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions and adhere to winery service standards.
  • Must obtain RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Set Schedule: Thu-Mon, weekends required
  • Expected hours: 30-35 per week
