What are the responsibilities and job description for the World Languages Teacher K-4 position at JERICHO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL?
Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable professional to teach beginning Spanish to our young scholars at Jericho Elementary School and Underhill Central School as a long term substitute. This is an 80% FTE position and is for the remainder of the 2024-25 School Year. Candidates for this position should have a strong background in elementary foreign language, world culture and knowledge of the responsive classroom philosophy. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to foster a positive rapport with students and effective communication skills with children, families and colleagues. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to implement a combination of in-person and virtual teaching opportunities, as the learning landscape may shift this school year. Applicants must be endorsed as an Elementary Foreign Language Educator. Experience with elementary students preferred.
