Spiritual Care Provider
Jericho Road Community Health Center is actively seeking a Spiritual Care Provider. This position is part-time, within the Spiritual Care department, working across our Barton, Broadway, Breckenridge and Doat locations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual care encounters within the context of clinical medical appointments.
- Obtain permission from patient, clients or staff for SC conversation.
- Listen to and pray with patient, clients and staff, as requested; share resources supportive to spiritual health care.
- Make referrals to Behavioral Health and/or update medical provider regarding any relevant or urgent patient information.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
- Enter narrative notes of patient or client encounter in Medent.
- Meet weekly with Spiritual Care Director.
- Attend monthly Spiritual Care Team meetings.
- Support monthly staff devotional meetings (first and third Friday of the month, 8:00 a.m.).
- Attend monthly mandatory staff meetings (first and third Friday of the month, 8:30 a.m.).
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing one’s own spiritual health.
- Respectful of individuals from diverse cultures, languages and faith communities.
- Passion for listening to other people’s stories, including faith journeys, heart for prayer and spiritual sensitivity.
- Experience working in ministry (lay or ordained), spiritual direction, pastoral care or chaplaincy with low-income, diverse, multilingual populations a plus.
- Capacity to speak other languages a plus; must be comfortable speaking and writing English
- Proficient computer skills.
Hourly Rate: $17.00 an hour. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
