Job Description- Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities and Expectations:
The purpose of this job description is to give new employees an overview of what is expected of an Accounts Payable Clerk at Jernigan Oil Company, Inc. The following list is not all-inclusive, this position may be asked to perform other duties. The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
· Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
· Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
· Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirements:
· High School Education
- Associates Degree (preferred)
Full-time employees must work at least thirty-two (32) hours, but should average approximately forty (40) hours per week. All hours worked in excess of forty hours per week will be paid overtime at one and one-half times the straight hourly rate
