Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork and frame straightening.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Work with sheet metal to repair or replace damaged sections of vehicles.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about the status of their vehicle repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician and Painter or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with automotive repair techniques and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in auto restoration is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to solder and work with sheet metal as required for repairs.
