Arbor Rose is expanding! Come work in our brand new, state of the art, memory care neighborhood. We are excited to be adding 20 memory care apartments onto our campus! Arbor Rose Jerome Home is a privately-owned, not-for-profit organization. We are a progressive assisted living community with a highly competent and caring staff. Established in 2008, our multi levels include, Memory Care, Assisted and Independent Living.
We have the following CNA positions open to staff our new addition:
UP TO $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE
7am - 3pm Full Time
Per Diem ALL SHIFTS
The Certified Nurse Aide will have direct and indirect contact with residents, families, nursing personnel and physicians. The physical demands for the job will include intermittent walking, standing, sitting and bending. The Certified Nurse Aide shall be under the direction of the Supervisor of Assisted Living Services or the nurse on duty. The duties of Certified Nurse Aides include executing the approved care plan of each Resident through assisting in the delivery of the personal care services of the program. The main function is to maintain quality and consistency of nursing care.

Must have certified nurse aide, CNA or have equivalent training or experience

Specific Requirements
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal with tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and of good moral character.
Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
Must possess ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and must possess respect for confidentiality.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing sound accounting techniques.
Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing accounting practices.
Must be knowledgeable of micro-computers, verify financial documents and reports. Must be able to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat and legible manner.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
(With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices)
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
Must be able to lift and move office equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.
Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
