Jerome Home is a 120 bed Long Term Care Facility in NewBritain, CT. Established under the will executed by Augustus Jerome, JeromeHome is a privately-owned, not-for-profit organization. We are a progressive, 5 star, nursing community with a highly competent and caring staff. Established in1932, our multi levels include; 26 units on RCH (Resident Care Home), 2 - 32bed neighborhoods on SNF, and 1 - 30 bed rehab / SNF. Also on our campus is ArborRose, a 82 apartment Assisted Living Facility.
As the RN Supervisor, you will work with a professional team ofRN's and LPN's to provide our residents the care and services they need to thrive. The safety of our residents and staff is of the utmost importance.
We have several on-line programs currently being used by ourstaff :
- Matrix is used as our EMR
- Smartforce is our on-line scheduling program. At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up a shift. You can also send email / text notification to request coverage of an open shift
- Relias is our on-line education program. Classes are assigned via email for you to complete in the allotted time at your own pace
- Paycom is our payroll system. We are all direct deposit
The successful RN Supervisor will possess a current,unencumbered, active license to practice in this state; possess theability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members,visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public. In addition,you will have leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously withprofessional and non-professional personnel; be IV certified; have patience, tact, a cheerfuldisposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficultresidents.
