What We're Looking For
Jerry Kelly Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. exists to help people thrive by creating a safe and comfortable environment. We provide full-service residential HVAC maintenance, repair, and replacement.
Purpose of the Job:
The Parts Runner is responsible for following appropriate company procedures to ensure the delivery of essential equipment and/or parts to the technicians, maintain appropriate levels of inventory using the company software program, restock and reorder as necessary. The Parts Runner is expected to act professionally and perform efficiently to ensure an effective use of company time and resources. The purpose of this position is to ensure all field staff employees have everything they need to perform their jobs at the highest level.
Requirements
Job Description:
- Deliver special order parts, and any other parts to field staff as needed
- Pick up parts and equipment from suppliers
- During summer months deliver drinks to field staff
- Keep up with Facility maintenance
- Vehicle Maintenance (ensure all pivot trucks, sales vehicles and steakbed are clean have gas and are locked)
- Taking out trash throughout building
- Magnet all lots
- Sweep fabrication shop
- Windex Conference table
- Coolers (Drain, Wipe and Stock)
- Restock all copy machines
- Fumigate/ Sanitize throughout building
- Pull and spray weeds
- Count window units and complete form for Install
- Verify all field staff doesn’t need any assistance or parts before departing for the day
- Ensure front gate is locked and secure before leaving( if working closing shift)
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate clearly in a friendly, personable way with customers and coworkers.
- Understand and follows proper safety techniques
- Must be able to work any day of the week
- Detail oriented
- Bring excitement and organization into the company each day
- Be responsible and accountable for independent and team results
- Familiarity with our company, products, and services so many questions can be answered without consulting others.
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to
· Work under extreme heat and cold conditions
· Maneuver in tight spaces
· Able to sit for an extended period
· Work long hours when necessary
· Drive from job site to job site
· Lift 50lbs.
Work Environment
· Very well-kept homes or dirty, cluttered homes
· Unpleasant odors, and or Unsanitary conditions
· Use the telephone and two-way communication effectively throughout the workday.
· Work with service department, install department and managers.
· Tolerate moderate but variable noise levels.
· Tolerate continual interruptions and changing priorities.
