You will diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing an extraordinary customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
Educate homeowner on what services are needed and why, prior to starting work.Build rapport with the homeowner and provide excellent customer service.Provide a thorough evaluation of the electrical system with the customer and develop a variety of options to meet customer needs.Exhibits a safety-first approach during all work activities.Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.Perform general electrical maintenance and safety inspectionsInspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.Repair & replace defective equipment, components & wiring.Discusses electrical system malfunctions with clients to isolate problems and verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.Service / installation to the UL specificationsTake detailed notes of work prior, during, and after completed work. Go over invoice with customer and collect payment.Ensures the homeowner receives a Five Star experience during the service visit.Other job duties as assigned.Requirements : Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements :
3-5 years of residential service experience preferred.Follow national, State & Local electrical codesAbility to represent the Jerry Kelly brand in a positive wayYou must have the ability to engage with and actively listen to customers.Ability to work independently to complete tasks.Demonstrate Leadership in a group settingAbility to work in a team environmentMay climb ladders or stand on equipment off the groundAbility to pass drug screening and background checkGood driving recordNo criminal recordInsurable driver’s licenseClass E driver’s license required within 30 days of hireNo visible tattoos (must be covered up while working)No traveling requiredWe are committed to being an equal-opportunity employer and strictly prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind.
