Designer B Electrical

Jerry Pittman is hiring an Electrical Designer C5ISR in Pascagoula, MS.

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview:

The Designer B - C5ISR is responsible for utilizing drafting techniques to prepare layouts, charts, graphs, maps, engineered designs, drawings, and diagrams from technical specifications and instructions. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to company and industry standards.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design detailed structural and mechanical components.

• Coordinate with other sections to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Review and check drawings as needed, which may require entering production areas.

• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and Bollinger design guidelines.

• Utilize common materials whenever possible.

• Ensure designs meet the requirements of applicable Regulatory Bodies and job specifications.

• Follow practices and procedures, including PRNs, ECPs, EARs, Budget Requests, and drawing check-out processes.

• Coordinate and review vendor-supplied information for compatibility with designs.

• Collaborate with other personnel as needed.

• Incorporate and document feedback from owners, regulatory bodies, and governing entities into designs.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Proficiency in working with drafting materials and software tools.

• 5 years of Electrical design using AutoCAD.

• At least 1 year experience as a Level B designer.

Experience & Training Requirements:

Completion of two years of college-level coursework equivalent to an AA degree in Industrial Technology or a related field, along with relevant design experience. Equivalent experience and training may also be considered.

Experience Levels:

• Level B: 5 years

Pay: $55,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
