What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Jerry's Artarama?
Jerry’s Artarama is a retail store for the fine arts. When you walk in the door, you’ll find paint, charcoal, clay, graphite, screen printing, pens and markers, resin, and much more. There's also a custom framing department where they will take any kind of artwork or item, be it pastel, acrylic, or even clothing, and match it to the perfect mat and frame to make the colors and textures pop. As we open this new store, we'll need an amazing team to carry it through to success.
The assistant manager has multiple tasks throughout the store, including:
- Running the registers
- Stocking product
- Keeping track of inventory
- Making sure aisles and shelves look presentable at all times
- Assisting customers with questions, carrying larger items, etc.
- Keeping the store clean
A Jerry's assistant manager should also be a team player. The person who joins the Jerry’s Dallas team should be able to:
- Listen to and follow instructions
- Help however needed
- Continuously try to improve the store with the rest of the team
