Local established flooring company is looking to add to our team. Construction knowledge extremely helpful as well as flooring experience. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.

Daily Tasks:
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Purchasing:
- Receive New Orders from Sales – email over to Order Entry to enter
- Order Products
- Enter Products into RFMS
- Call Vendors
- Procure the best price
- Enter PO into RFMS
- Print up Purchase Orders
- Set up Pick up & Deliveries with Warehouse
- Paperwork to production
- Check status of products for eta’s – TRACK PRODUCT
- Product Returns from Warehouse to Vendors
- Warehouse writes up Return Material Log
- Check with Sales to see if Job is complete – return to Vendor or put into stock
- Call Vendor to see if returnable
- If returnable – Enter claim – Run paperwork for warehouse to return to Vendor
- If non-returnable – make notes in RFMS – Bring into Inventory at No Cost
- Enter Installer supplies into providers from pick tickets, etc
- Verify jobs so they can be invoiced & closed
- Check installer information
- Put notes in RFMS
- Send paperwork upstairs
- Dead Vinyl & Carpet Tags/Cut Logs
- Temporary pick tickets: enter product on job
- Month end reports
- Following up on CG Orders to verify the orders are shipped on a timely manner.
Inventory:
- Maintain Inventory/Stock List
- Inventory Stock List
- Min/Max Counts
- Order Stock & Inventory items
- Inventory Cycle Counts
- Making adjustments in RFMS
- Year End Inventory
Costing/Claims:
- Call for Invoices as necessary.
- Costing of invoices.
- Checking distributor statements to make sure invoices are in AP.
- Procure invoice if needed.
- Processing returned material claims and credits.
- Processing manufacturer’s replacement claims – material and labor credits.
Support:
- Provide support with entering CG orders as needed
- Provide support with Warehouse Receiving
- Provide support to Warehouse for shipping materials to jobs
- Provide support to Warehouse to get installers out the door
- Write up Temp Pick Ticket
- Provide support to Production
- Printing pick tickets
- Answer Phones when on Night
Any other duties as assigned and/or as needed
Required Relative Experience:
1. Min of 2 years of Purchasing or Inventory or Construction Trade Experience
2. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
3. Ability to work as part of a team and self-motivate
4. Willing to learn in a fast paced environment
5. Product Knowledge of Flooring or relative construction back ground preferred, but not required.
