Position: Mazda Technician

Location: Jerry Seiner Mazda, Las Vegas

Are you a skilled Mazda Technician with a passion for working on Mazda vehicles? Jerry Seiner Mazda of Las Vegas is looking for an experienced technician to join our dynamic team. If you have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and are eager to advance your career in the automotive industry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on Mazda vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Troubleshooting: Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ongoing Training: Keep up-to-date with Mazda technology and advancements through ongoing training and self-study.
• Customer Communication: Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair details, estimated completion times, and additional recommendations to customers.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for each service performed.
• Safety and Policies: Follow safety protocols and adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Mazda Technician or equivalent required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing Mazda vehicles, with knowledge of Mazda-specific systems and components.
• Tools and Equipment: Experience working with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to Mazda vehicles.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Mazda service manuals and repair procedures.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Certifications: ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Environment: Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment and a willingness to learn and grow.
