Job Summary:
Directly support and enforce all initiatives given by the Food & Beverage Manager in order to foster an environment of exceptional customer service and high employee productivity by supervising all Bar personnel and operations in accordance with Health Department standards and Company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
· Responsible for the creation and implementation of a bar program to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
· Responsible for ordering all bar products.
· Communicate to all vendors on delivery standards and policies.
· Implement and manage effective cost compliance systems in bar and beverage.
· Maintain and update bar and cocktail Standards of Procedures.
· Aggressively manage waste, comps, voids and discounts.
· Accomplish staff results by interviewing, hiring, training employees; communicating job expectations; scheduling, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
· Ensure that employees maintain proper cards (Health Card, Tam Card).
· All other duties that may be assigned.
Work Environment:
· Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
· Must have previous bartending and related experience.
· Must have previous management experience; at least three years.
· Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
· Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must have strong working knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Must have Basic math skills.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Must have TAM Card or ability to obtain same
· Must have Health Card or ability to obtain same
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8 hours.
· Must be able to bend, crouch, twist stretch, and kneel.
· Must be able to lift, carry, pull, or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
· Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers.
