What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Attendant position at JERRYS NUGGET INC?
Job Summary:
Drive, park and retrieve casino guests’ vehicles in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner in accordance to Company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure guest keys are logged and secure
- Ensure guest vehicles are locked and secure while in the care of Valet
- Assist guests with questions
- All other duties that may be assigned
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as wind, dust, extreme heat, and extreme cold
- Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidays
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have valid drivers’ license
- Must be able to meet the following Company driver criteria at hire and on an annual basis
- Previous experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- No more than two moving violations in the previous two years
- No convictions for DUI
- No at-fault accidents in the previous two years
- No hit-and-run or leaving the scene of an accident
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move quickly around property
- Must be able to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist
- Must be able to move quickly in and out of vehicles
- Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
