- Shelves used materials, performs shelf reading duties
- Assists patrons with finding materials
- Assists in answering in-person, phone and electronic patron queries
- Operates standard office machines, such as copiers or calculators
- Informs individuals of library services.
- Ability to learn to use the Dewy Decimal System.
- Ability to compare written and printed material for accuracy.
- Ability to read with comprehension
- Ability to follow oral and written orders, directions, or plans
- Knowledge of general vocabulary, spelling and of standard English grammar.
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
