What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Technician position at Jersey Jack Pinball?
Basic Function: Build prototype assemblies and full games, maintain games in the internal arcade and front lobby, assist manufacturing when necessary with assembly instructions, and proper maintenance of the White Wood Lab.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Build prototype assemblies and games as necessary while adhering to timelines provided
- Maintain the White Wood Lab tools and supplies needed to assemble prototype subassemblies and full games
- Maintain and control inventory for prototype assemblies and common parts
- Maintain the Lab cleanliness and spaces available to work
- Maintain games in the Product Development Arcade, programmers offices, front entrance, and break room
- Documment and communicate assembly issues with Game Designers and Engineers
- Assist manufacturing when necessary with assembly instructions and communicate with Product Development Liaison on assembly processes and requirements
- Assist manufacturing and Product Development Liaison with advice on any fixturing needed to aid in the assembly process
Education and Experience:
· 5 to 7 years of related experience. Pinball experience a plus
· Ability to understand mechanical drawings and bill of materials
· Ability to use eDrawing, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom
